Canon Powershot G12

Canon has launched a few models, ahead of the Photokina camera trade show in September in Germany, but it left out the Canon Powershot G12.This camera comes with a 10 megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom, a 2.8-inch tilt and swivel screen, manual exposure control, HD video (720p) video recording and optical image stabilization capability.

I have seen several articles on the Canon Powershot G12 that now reference the G11. I leave it up to you folks, is the G12 going to make it's appearance at the camera trade show or will it be named something different with all the same bells and whistles.

Judging by all the chanter and other stories on the net, it shouldn't be too long to wait to hear about the new camera, officially, We will be pressing our ears to the ground.
